Configurable Product

Configurable Products allow the user to select from a range of physical attributes on a non-customized product. Popularly, this product type is used for clothing items that come in a range of sizes and several colors.

The product page for a configurable product displays a grid to aid in production selections.

At the top, there may be a dropdown selection (1) to switch between a product's available colors. Once you have made a selection, the rest of the product screen populates with live inventory information (2) on sizes and availability. Updating the quantity boxes (3) accomodates bulk ordering for multiple items on screen using the ADD TO CART button (4).

Once you successfully have added those items to the cart, change the color selector to view and order the next bulk batch of products.

While configurable products are added to the cart in one click, they display in the mini cart and full-page cart display as individual line items which can be edited or deleted without affecting other products in the cart.
