Attached Download

An attached download refers to any product that can be downloaded without cart interaction. Users do not load the product into their cart and do not go through checkout. Attached downloads have no cost (free) and are available for immediate download. The file has been created ahead of time and does not have customization available (we call these static files).

The item you download from an attached download product can be PDF files, Word documents, Excel files, videos, image files, or more.

They are called attached downloads because the file is simply “attached” to the product page. Users click a link and download the file.

If there is only one file involved, attached downloads may appear on a product page as a DOWNLOAD button under the product title and short description:

If the product can be purchased for print or immediately downloaded, there will be separate buttons for each action:

If there are multiple downloads presented together, they will display on the product page as a list:

• Each item can be downloaded individually by clicking the file name. 
  
• Multiple files can be downloaded at once by checking the box next to each file name, then using the DOWNLOAD SELECTED button.
  
• All files can be downloaded at once by checking the box at the top of the download file list (left of the FILE NAME title), which selects all checkboxes instantly, then by clicking the DOWNLOAD SELECTED button.
