Tiered pricing

Tiered pricing is a feature that allows quantity-based discounts to users. With tiered pricing, discounts are offered based on the economics of production and the needs of the customer. 

For example, a brand portal might offer a discount for the purchase 10 or more of a product, or a different discount for customers who purchase 50 or more. Tiered pricing can be a useful tool to encouraging customers to purchase larger quantities of a product and save money in the long run.

Location selection

The location selection dropdown is a useful tool to easily create location-specific customized products.

Using the drop-down menu to select their location, customers empower Media Builder to automatically pull in the appropriate location information to render a final product.

Stock status and increment ordering details

Many products display text in this section to show minimum and maximum purchasing limits, along with information on sales increments.

Add to cart button

The Add to Cart button on the product page allows customers to add products to their shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

Depending upon product type and needs, there are several options for what this button may say:

  • Add to Cart: Allows customers to add a static item to their cart without any additional customization. This option is available for both Print on Demand and Fulfillment products.
  • Customize: Indicates that the product is customizable. Pressing the button launches Media Builder and allows customers to make customizations before adding the product to their cart or downloading.
  • Download: Allows customers to download an attached file.
  • Customize and Add to Cart: Indicates a bundle of several items, and allows the user to customize the order before adding it to their cart. 
  • Multiple buttons: If a static product can be purchased or downloaded, next to the button "Add to Cart" and there will be a second button for "Download." 

Product image thumbnails

To the left of the product page is a display of useful product images. This section offers a sneak peek at multiple document pages or product options and can be helpful in reviewing a piece before launching Media Builder. If you hover your mouse over the main image, forward/back arrows appear (as shown in the image) for navigation though the images.

A miniature thumbnail underneath the main image shows how many images have been provided. Clicking on a miniature thumbnail will enlarge the image.

Clicking on the main display image will open it in an image overlay window for closer inspection.

More information section

Toward the bottom of the page, this section typically contains additional details about the product. This might include technical specifications, product dimensions, warranty information, and other details important for customers considering a purchase.

Related Products

At the very bottom of the product page, sites sometimes offer related or comparable items in a special "related products" display. This can be helpful in situations like ordering the correct envelopes for a note card, comparing two available coffee mugs, or making connections between dissimilar products with a common theme (seasonal campaign).
